In August 2023, Octant embarked on a mission to empower GLM token holders by giving them a decisive voice in allocating the proceeds from Golem Foundation's ETH staking operations. In this pioneering governance experiment, Octant participants have allocated almost 2000 ETH over the past 12 months. This presentation will delve into the key insights gleaned from Octant’s four completed funding rounds. We’ll explore what drives user participation, why certain public goods initiatives receive more funding than others, and how the design of a funding round can significantly influence user decisions.
