We want to introduce the Cheatcalls EIP, an effort to standardise special JSON RPC calls to force a development Ethereum node into a certain state. The current lack of clarity around the interface results in wasted energy trying to work around incompatibilities as well as increased vendor lock-in. This EIP introduces calls such as cheat_setNextBlockTimestamp with well defined behaviour across different implementations.
In the past created popular dev tools (TypeChain) as well as co-founded important, Ethereum aligned projects such as L2BEAT. Currently working on brining DeFi to the people in Phoenix Labs, contributing to Spark DAO part of the Maker DAO ecosystem.
