Cheatcalls EIP - My (dev)node is my castle
We want to introduce the Cheatcalls EIP, an effort to standardise special JSON RPC calls to force a development Ethereum node into a certain state. The current lack of clarity around the interface results in wasted energy trying to work around incompatibilities as well as increased vendor lock-in. This EIP introduces calls such as cheat_setNextBlockTimestamp with well defined behaviour across different implementations.
