Ethereum scalability roadmap is focused on increasing its data throughput without sacrificing on decentralization. After many years of research, Danksharding has emerged as the clear way forward. Now, Ethereum core devs are implementing its first iteration: PeerDAS. PeerDAS re-uses battle-tested p2p components already in production in Ethereum to bring additional DA scale beyond that of 4844 while keeping the minimum amount of work of honest nodes.
