Join Adam Gągol, Co-Founder of Aleph Zero, for his talk on “Exploring the Spectrum of Intent-Driven Designs in DeFi.” Adam will dissect how intent-driven design principles are critical in creating DeFi solutions that are not only functional but also intuitively align with user needs and expectations. Learn how these strategic designs are setting the stage for more robust and user-friendly DeFi applications.
Adam Gągol is a co-founder of the Aleph Zero Foundation (Switzerland) and Cardinal Cryptography (Poland), where he oversees the Aleph Zero blockchain’s development team. With a Ph.D. in mathematics, his deep expertise has been instrumental in crafting Aleph Zero’s core technologies, including the proprietary AlephBFT consensus protocol and its zero-knowledge and secure multi-party computation stacks.
His work is now focused on building Aleph Zero’s infrastructure to enable privacy and decentralization to coexist seamlessly, setting new standards for user experience without compromising on transparency or security. In 2023, Adam was instrumental in the design and creation of Common, a decentralized exchange (DEX) within the Aleph Zero ecosystem that integrates on-chain privacy with compliance-focused features to enhance user experience. He also extends technical guidance to over 40 diverse projects within the Aleph Zero ecosystem, spanning DeFi, AI, digital identity management, gaming, and data confidentiality.
Under Adam’s technical direction, Aleph Zero has emerged as a distinguished Layer 1 blockchain in Europe, renowned for its focus on scalability, security, and speed. The project has earned significant accolades, including Deloitte naming Cardinal Cryptography, Aleph Zero’s core development arm, a top “Company to Watch” in 2023.
