Everybody knows about oracles and the service they provide. If you don't know about them initially, most of the times you will learn through some type of exploit that caused people to lose significant money, like in the case with Avi & Mango Markets. But despite providing one of the most critical pieces of infrastructure to blockchains, oracle tokens seem to heavily underperform. In this presentation, i want to look into what causes this discrepancy, the typical oracle business model, and why a revolution is needed in order to revitalise the space.
